Isabella Rigby City2Surf Journey is raising money for Premature Babies.

Hey, Insta fam! I have been lacing up my running shoes and training hard to take on the incredible City2Surf in Sydney for a good cause: supporting premature babies!

As a passionate podiatrist and a firm believer in the power of community, I couldn’t resist the opportunity to combine my love for running with making a difference in the lives of these little warriors.

Training for this iconic 14-kilometre race has been an adventure in itself. From early morning runs through the Anna Bay Area to challenging weekend runs pushing myself to the 14k mark that has left me breathless, every step I’ve taken has been in honour of those tiny fighters who enter this world a little earlier than expected.

Why premature babies, you ask? Well, their journey is nothing short of miraculous. They face unique health challenges and require specialised care to thrive. By participating in the City2Surf, I hope to raise awareness and funds for neonatal units that work tirelessly to give these babies the best start in life.

Every dollar I raise will provide life-saving equipment, support research, and offer vital resources to families of premature babies. Together, we can make a real difference and give these little superheroes the love and care they deserve.

So, dear friends, I invite you to join me on this meaningful journey. Whether you cheer me on from the sidelines, donate to the cause, or even lace up your running shoes and hit the pavement, your support means the world to me and these precious babies.

Stay tuned for updates as I countdown to race day! Let’s spread the word, raise awareness, and make this City2Surf memorable for all the right reasons. Together, we can make strides for premature babies and show them they’re never alone in their fight.

You can find Isabella at Footprints Podiatry Salamander Bay, or our Soldiers Point and Anna Bay podiatry locations.
